On July 9, 2024, Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) and Tether Operations Limited officially announced a strategic partnership to promote blockchain education in Vietnam. The partnership aims to raise public awareness about blockchain and its applications, foster widespread knowledge, and enhance the skills and competencies of professionals in the blockchain industry.
The core of this bilateral partnership will be implemented through the educational activities of Academy of Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence Innovation, a division of the VBA. The initiative focuses on knowledge sharing and encouraging the community to leverage the advantages of blockchain technology to enhance financial inclusion and promote economic development.
Specifically, Tether will deploy its team of experts to share technological knowledge, teaching materials, research reports, reference documents, and practical lessons in the Unitour 2024 program, organized by the ABAII Academy. This program is specifically designed for university students nationwide, primarily focusing on Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
The Unitour program is organized to ignite passion and nurture talent in AI and blockchain among the younger generation, enhancing their understanding of the potential of digital finance, guiding them in legal compliance, and career orientation, and helping them pursue their entrepreneurial dreams in the technology sector.
Additionally, Tether will collaborate with the ABAII Academy to develop suitable educational content on blockchain and AI technologies for the general community. They will also support projects participating in VBA’s SwitchUp Accelerator, aimed at assisting with fundraising, by sharing knowledge, providing advisory support, and offering potential investments for Web3 projects and startups. The collaboration will also focus on applied research programs in RegTech (Regulatory Technology) and emerging fintech models such as P2P, Open API, and credit scoring.
