In response to the need for enhancing the work efficiency of officials, civil servants, and public employees, the Administrative Procedure Control Department, in collaboration with the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) and the ABAII Institute, organized a short-term training course on AI applications for its officers.

Attending the training program were Mr. Phan Đức Trung, Standing Vice Chairman of the VBA; Ms. Nguyễn Vân Hiền, General Secretary of the VBA; Mr. Hàng Minh Lợi, Director of the AI Innovation Center (AIIC); and Ms. Tạ Ngọc Diệp, Chief of Staff of the Academic of Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence Innovation.

On the first day of the workshop, Mr. Hàng Minh Lợi gave an overview presentation on Generative AI and its effectiveness when applied to the practical work of the Administrative Procedure Control Department, such as data analysis and file management. He also provided detailed knowledge and skills on security, data privacy, and crafting appropriate prompts to optimize AI performance and minimize the shortcomings of this technology.

To master the technology, Mr. Lợi and the participants conducted hands-on practice using one of the most popular AI tools today, ChatGPT, to assist with administrative tasks through specific examples like information summarization, report generation, and scheduling reminders. Administrative Procedure Control Department officers were also taught to write effective prompts to utilize ChatGPT as efficiently and accurately as possible.

On the second day, in addition to continuing to practice using AI tools, verifying, and reviewing results to ensure accuracy, participants were introduced to ethical issues and challenges surrounding AI advancements, such as its potential negative impacts on social life, safeguarding user rights in practice, and anticipating possible risks.

This session aimed to raise awareness among participants about securing sensitive information and data while emphasizing the importance of avoiding over-reliance on AI and the excessive use of these tools.

After the two-day “AI Applications in Administrative Work” course, 33 participants, all Administrative Procedure Control Department officers, were awarded certificates of completion by the Vietnam Blockchain Association and the ABAII Institute. In addition to the traditional printed certificates, participants received NFT certificates minted directly at graduation on the Polygon blockchain.

Issuing NFT certificates not only ensures the transparency of the certifications but also makes it easier to store these important documents in a nearly permanent manner.
