“Good Morning Vietnam 2024” (GM Vietnam 2024), the leading blockchain event in Asia, recently held in Ho Chi Minh City, has helped affirm and elevate Vietnam’s status on the global blockchain map.
“Good Morning Vietnam 2024” (GM Vietnam 2024) was organized by Kyros Ventures, with content support from the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) as a co-organizer, along with strategic partners Ninety Eight, Ancient8, and the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA). The event commences on June 7 & 8 at ThisoSkyHall, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
As a co-organizer, Mr. Phan Duc Trung, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA), shared, “In the context of global changes and the expected issuance of the Virtual Asset legal framework in May 2025, VBA is ready to listen to feedback from both domestic and international partners, advising on full compliance with current legal regulations and guiding appropriate technology applications that align with Vietnam’s situation.”
In addition to emphasizing legal compliance to foster a healthy, sustainable blockchain industry, Mr. Trung highlighted major upcoming trends such as Real World Asset Tokenization (RWA), Bitcoin Layer 2, DePIN, DeSOC, and DeSCI.
Mr. Nguyen Thuat (Zane), co-founder of Kyros Ventures, proudly stated, “Vietnam is an extremely promising market for the blockchain industry, as demonstrated by numerous studies and reports from major global organizations, yet research and application processes remain limited. Therefore, through this annual event, we aim to present the complete picture of Vietnam’s blockchain market to the international community and promote networking with reputable global enterprises.”
In addition to the insights the Vietnam Blockchain Association shared, attendees had the opportunity to meet and connect with investors, developers, venture capital funds, financial and tech companies, legal experts, and project developers worldwide.
It is estimated that the event attracted over 12,000 attendees, with more than 130 experts and 120 major global investment funds participating in product demos, interactive sessions, mini-games, specialized workshops, and various engaging activities.
This marks the second year GM Vietnam has been organized, with free entry for attendees to enable in-depth exchanges, promote blockchain technology adoption, meet top-tier experts, and receive thousands of attractive gifts throughout the two-day event. Sharing future development plans, Mr. Nguyen Thuat emphasized that in the coming years, the organizing team hopes that the community and state agencies, as well as professional associations, will continue to recognize GM Vietnam as a global blockchain technology highlight, featuring more comprehensive organization, larger scale, richer content, higher-quality partnerships, and achieving more significant milestones on a global scale.
