On the afternoon of August 5th, Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) and Alpha Books Joint Stock Company (Alpha Books) signed a strategic cooperation and launched the Blockchain Bookcase. The works in this bookcase will be a useful source of information on distributed ledger technology, translated and penned by leading experts from the Vietnam Blockchain Association.
In recent years, the keyword of “blockchain” technology has appeared everywhere, from newspapers or social networks or the word-of-mouth stories among investors or business people. Blockchain is considered one of the pillars of future technology. With such great traction, it’s no surprise that demand for blockchain talent skyrockets, and companies are aggressively hunting for people talented at blockchain.
That’s the story of those in the industry. For most people, blockchain is still something foreign, and abstract. Although the internet is popular, information about blockchain on the network is only fragmented articles. To fully understand the complex concepts, we still need well-written reliable knowledge documents prepared by blockchain-related industry experts themselves. And in terms of knowledge transmission and storage, nothing can replace books – a vast store of human knowledge over thousands of generations.
In Vietnam, blockchain books are mainly translated works from foreign documents; even though Vietnam still has blockchain talents, typically the recent founders and CEOs of worldwide disruptive “unicorn” technology who all come from Vietnam.
“Through the launch of Blockchain Bookcase, VBA and Alpha Books hope to create an opportunity for experts to speak up and share their experiences with the public to help Vietnamese readers from employers to those who are not familiar with blockchain better understand the context of this industry as well as the story of knowledge dissemination and training of blockchain industry personnel to integrate into the digital economy”, said Mr. Phan Duc Trung, Standing Vice President of VBA shared.
At the launch of the blockchain bookcase, there was also the presence of a representative of the National Innovation Center, who talked about future technology personnel training projects and a vision of national digital transformation until 2030.
The first works of the blockchain bookcase marking the cooperation between Alpha Books and the Vietnam Blockchain Association are expected to be officially on shelves in October.
The first book with the original title is NFT Revolution, which is a book to clear all misunderstandings surrounding the new technology known today as NFT. What NFT is, how it works, what it means for the future of humanity, and how we can join this trend before it’s too late.
The second book in the blockchain library with the original title “The Metaverse” evokes and introduces readers to a network of experiences, devices, tools, and infrastructure that goes beyond mere virtual reality. The metaverse is poised to revolutionize everything from finance and healthcare payments, consumer goods, and even prostitution. The Internet will not only be within reach but will also surround all of our life, labor, and entertainment taking place inside the Metaverse.
