Meet the ABAII Institute Faculty Council: Refining the organizational structure to enhance teaching quality.

On this occasion, Mr. Đào Trung Thành, Vice Director of the ABAII Institute, officially received the appointment decision as Chairman of the Faculty Council, taking on the responsibility of refining the organizational structure, faculty criteria, responsibilities, and activity plans of the Council to contribute to realizing the goal of popularizing Blockchain and AI.

On August 3, 2024, numerous Blockchain and AI experts from the North, Central, and South regions participated in the regular meeting of the Academy of Blockchain and AI Innovation (ABAII). The gathering aimed to provide feedback on refining the Faculty Council (HĐGV) Regulations, discussing the activity plans and key teaching focuses to promote the widespread adoption of Blockchain and AI soon.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Phan Đức Trung, Chairman of the ABAII Institute Management Board, welcomed the delegates, who are leading experts and experienced CEOs in the fields of Blockchain and AI. He shared the strategic goals of the ABAII Institute, including the criteria, benefits, and responsibilities of joining the Faculty Council.

“Lecturers participating in the Faculty Council do so voluntarily and with the approval of the ABAII Institute Council while reporting to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Blockchain Association and the Ministry of Science and Technology. ABAII Institute will allocate all resources in terms of personnel, communications, equipment, facilities, and shared online learning platforms such as MasterTeck to optimally support lecturers in delivering knowledge to the community. On the part of the lecturers, we also require a high level of responsibility, ensuring teaching quality and adherence to appropriate ethical standards,” Mr. Trung emphasized.

The program featured participation from leading experts and reputable lecturers from universities, organizations, and large enterprises such as Mr. Lê Thống Nhất (Ph.D. in Mathematics Teaching Methods), Mr. Lê Công Thành (CEO, Founding Chairman of InfoRe JSC), Mr. Đặng Hải Lộc (COO, CTO of AIV Group Technology and Media JSC), Mr. Lê Thanh Hưng (Relationship Development Manager at FOSSASIA), Mr. Nguyễn Minh Cường (Chief Consultant at AloBase), Mr. Đào Anh Tuấn (Deputy Head of the Faculty of Economics – Business Administration, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology), Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tiệp (Co-Founder of Vietsun International Investment and Development Co., Ltd.), Mr. Hàng Minh Lợi (Director of AI Innovation Center), Mr. Trần Huyền Dinh (Chairman of the Fintech Applications Committee, Vietnam Blockchain Association), and more.

The experts engaged in lively discussions, contributing many important opinions to refining the strategy and activity plan of the Faculty Council in particular, including the broader efforts to promote Blockchain and AI. Notably, Dr. Lê Thống Nhất suggested that organizing talent competitions for students and lecturers would encourage the spirit of self-learning, exploration, and creativity among the younger generation.

Mr. Lê Công Thành emphasized that identifying new lecturers with the necessary competence and integrity should be a key focus of the Faculty Council to ensure both quality and innovation in the rapidly changing technological landscape, with more emphasis on practical applications rather than theoretical foundations as before.

Other suggestions centered on regular training to enhance lecturer quality, dividing training fields, adding community-focused criteria when selecting lecturers, developing curricula that meet real-world needs, and creating applications developed by their team of experts.
