Developing human resources and promoting the “Make in Vietnam” brand in the blockchain field are two key missions outlined in the Government’s National Blockchain Strategy, which the MasterTeck online learning platform is pioneering.
On October 23, 2024, the Academy of Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence Innovation (ABAII), a Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) member, officially launched the MasterTeck online learning platform. The platform aims to popularize Blockchain and AI among 1 million Vietnamese citizens by developing Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).
Before that, on October 22, 2024, the Government issued Decision No. 1236/QĐ-TTg, announcing the National Strategy for the Application and Development of Blockchain Technology through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
Notably, alongside various ministries and sectors, the Vietnam Blockchain Association and other professional associations have been assigned to lead the development of “Make in Vietnam” blockchain platforms. The associations are also responsible for establishing operational frameworks, utilization mechanisms, and interoperability between different blockchain networks operating on the Vietnam Blockchain Infrastructure. Furthermore, they will gather Vietnamese digital technology enterprises to develop blockchain platforms, promote information sharing, and strengthen competitiveness against foreign enterprises.
Positioned as Vietnam’s leading online learning platform for Blockchain and AI, MasterTeck offers more than 300 courses, ranging from basic to advanced levels. These courses aim to equip learners with practical knowledge and skills while providing opportunities to connect with networks and career prospects in hundreds of reputable global communities.
MasterTeck will leverage educational resources from globally recognized partners such as AISG, TU Delft, PCBC, UNIC, MIT, ISTE, and PlanB (Tether) in the initial phase. The platform will focus on developing high-quality lectures created by Vietnamese experts, tailored to Vietnam’s specific conditions. This shift aims to enhance the autonomy of Vietnam’s education system for Blockchain and AI, aligning with domestic needs and mitigating the risks of inaccurate information.
“The launch of MasterTeck at this time not only contributes to addressing the demand for high-quality human resources in Blockchain and AI but also facilitates the ‘localization’ of knowledge systems and lectures, supporting the creation of ‘Make in Vietnam’ brands in the Blockchain and AI sectors. These are two of the many specific goals outlined in the National Blockchain Strategy, which VBA and ABAII are actively pioneering,” emphasized Mr. Phan Đức Trung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Blockchain Association and Director of the ABAII Institute.
According to the ABAII Institute’s Scientific Council, composed of 15 leading professors and PhDs, MasterTeck’s courses are designed to align closely with market needs and offer high practical applicability in both learning and working environments. The platform focuses on 24 high-demand professions with promising income opportunities, including financial analysis, financial investment, marketing and communication, tokenized real-world assets (RWA), fintech, decentralized finance (DeFi), and more.
Professor Hoàng Văn Huây, Ph.D., former Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA), and Chairman of the ABAII Institute’s Scientific Council, remarked that MasterTeck is scientifically designed with a diverse and highly interactive lecture system. He noted that the platform suits young people and other audiences, helping them prepare to embrace the current wave of high-tech job opportunities.
From the perspective of someone directly involved in conceptualizing and developing the product, Ms. Nguyễn Vân Hiền, Secretary-General of VBA and Deputy Director of the ABAII Institute shared: “In addition to courses for individuals and solutions for businesses, MasterTeck aims to serve as a bridge between experts and universities, as well as secondary schools, contributing to the early integration of Blockchain and AI into the education system. This will increase access opportunities and provide the proper, positive, healthy career orientation for the younger generation.”
