The SwitchUp startup incubator program is a product of the Vietnam Blockchain Association in collaboration with the Spores Network Company. This is a program for startups in the field of Web 3.0 and blockchain, not limited to territories, business models and types of products and services. With a commitment to support and investment from more than 50 investment funds and international organizations, the SwitchUp program is an opportunity to help startups raise capital and develop sustainably in the blockchain ecosystem.
The goal of the program is to find and select potential start-up businesses/projects to accompany with advice and support in terms of strategies and solutions for businesses/projects to develop sustainably in the ecosystem. state blockchain technology and have the opportunity to approach and raise capital from reputable domestic and international businesses and investment funds. To date, there have been nearly 50 investment funds, angel investors and international partners committed to invest, provide financial support and accompany startups participating in the SwitchUp program.
Comprehensive training for startups in 8 weeks
After the evaluation and interview round, the jury from the Vietnam Blockchain Association and Spores Network will announce the 10 – 12 most potential startups to enter the next round. Selected startups will participate in an 8-week training course with leading experts and investors from SwitchUp’s partner units such as NGC, Republic, AWS, Saxon, Brinc, Saison Capital,… and 3 a group of technology, legal and economic experts under the Vietnam Blockchain Association.
Accordingly, the training course will cover all the necessary content for startups to increase the ability to successfully raise capital and develop sustainably in the fledgling Web 3.0 industry. Core topics in this 8-week program include: fundraising skills training from pitch deck building to finding and approaching investors; design a sustainable tokenomic model; building effective market access and marketing strategies; develop quality Web 3.0 technologies and products; legal issues in blockchain operations; network security solutions. Interspersed with training sessions is one-on-one supervision consulting support between the project and experts from leading international investment funds.
After 2 months, the project will be graduated on the Demo Day scheduled to take place in the last week of October 2023, where the best teams will be presented about their businesses and business models. in front of a group of 100+ investment fund representatives, angel investors and experts, advisors and representatives of international blockchain businesses and organizations. The “demo” day is said to be a golden opportunity for the startup to be approached by investors and known to the community.
