Vietnam Blockchain Association and Echeng Holdings, represented by Vinotech technology company, have just officially become Strategic Partners, focusing on training and dissemination of blockchain knowledge in Vietnam, in order to promote Vietnam’s blockchain industry to develop healthily and sustainably.
The cooperation between the two parties is expected to bring many positive results to the Vietnamese blockchain technology community, especially in the context that the Vietnamese government is actively building a legal framework on Virtual Assets (VA) and Virtual asset service providers (VASP) before May 2025 to implement the National Action Plan on preventing and combating money laundering, terrorist financing and financing of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, with the goal of removing Vietnam from the FATF’s Gray List.
Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) is the only official government organization in Vietnam in the blockchain industry. Since established, VBA has focused on 6 goals: Policy advocacy, Training and dissemination of Blockchain, Promotion Cooperation, Member Development, Standards Building and International Cooperation.
Currently, VBA has an official unit responsible for education and training activities, the ABAII Academy of Blockchain Technology and Artificial Intelligence (ABAII), focusing on activities such as training, improving awareness, knowledge, and career skills about blockchain, AI and new technologies..
Echeng Holdings is a technology group, representing the shareholder of the world’s largest BTC mining pool, ViaBTC. This is a large technology ecosystem, including many members, services, products, blockchain applications such as ViaBTC mining pool, CoinEx cryptocurrency exchange, ViaWallet wallet, OneSwap decentralized exchange, chain CoinEx Smartchain and investment company ViaBTC capital. Echeng Holding’s ecosystem member units are currently operated by Vinotech. This is also the official representative working with VBA in providing documents and experts for training activities and disseminating knowledge about blockchain.
